With a certain amount of perverseness, I’ve been asking people via Facebook to follow Papers for the Border, and yet have offered little reason for doing so in terms of posts. Perhaps too much cultural intake has created a bottleneck somewhere between the head and the fingers.

Well, while I get my notes together on recent films, music, and books — and specifically my Jacques Rivette obsession — here’s a link to my list of top 2008 recordings, that Perfect Sound Forever was so kind to ask me for and publish. I was a little surprised this morning to see some of my choices, but I stand by them.
